How do electrical distribution box manufacturers drill holes
The hole diameter shall be just enough to embed the expansion part of expansion bolt into the wall, and the holes shall be straight without skew. What tools do I use to drill clean holes in both the plastic and aluminum enclosures so that the cable glands fit snugly without any gaps? I tried searching for M20 drill bits and thread taping, but couldnt really find anything solid. During bending construction, align it correctly before welding the joint positions. If the box is not drilled with the proper allocated spacing not only can the warranty and UL listed be void but the integrity of the enclosure is in jeopardy.
