Russian Solution Optical Line Terminal 10G
To accommodate the data traffic that has been increasing due to high-quality video distribution, we have developed a 10 Gigabit Ethernet PON (10G-EPON) optical line terminal (OLT) that supports nearly ten times higher line-speed transmission than the current Gigabit Ethernet. At the heart of a point-to-multi-point or passive optical network (PON) is the optical line terminal (OLT). Modern OLTs offer communication service providers (CSP) the ability to launch multigigabit services to tens of thousands of subscribers from a single location or just ten. According to the International Telecommunication Union, the overall volume of Internet traffic has more than doubled during three COVID-19 years, from the end of 2019 to 2022: from 2,401 to 5,291 exabytes. This is not surprising given how many people were locked down where they worked and spent. PLANET GPL-8000 GPON Optical Line Terminal (OLT) consists of eight GPON ports, four Gigabit TP/SFP combo ports, four Gigabit SFP ports, four 10G SFP+ ports and one management port.
