The proper installation of a distribution box involves placing it at the right height to ensure safety and convenience. NEC Article 620 governs electrical installation and wiring for elevators, dumbwaiters, escalators, moving walks, platform lifts and stairway chairlifts, aligning with ASME A17. *3: For some elevator specifications, the floor height (distance between floors) must be a minimum of 2500mm. The system consists of call buttons in the car, and a riser of up and down destination floor. The elevator power is supplied using a 5-cord cable from a collective electricity meter. It shall be equipped with a closer, and shall have a store room function lockset that is keyed to the standard levator machine room key.
