The 100G QSFP28 module solution provides high-performance 100GbE connectivity for data centres, enterprise core & distribution layers, computing networks and service provider applications. The C-LIGHT 100G AOC Active Optical Cable is a high-speed interconnect product based on the QSFP28 form factor. By integrating 850nm VCSEL array laser transmitters and PIN receivers within the optical transceivers at both ends, it converts electrical signals into optical signals for transmission. This product is a high data rate parallel active optical cable (AOC), to overcome the bandwidth limitation of traditional copper cable. Monaco Telecom, a Cable & Wireless Communications' business, says it has recently entered into a strategic communications partnership with Gibtelecom, Gibraltar's largest communications provider.
