These are easy to use and don't pull the workpiece towards the drill so are safer than helical drill bits. The main function of the explosion-proof distribution box is to ensure the normal operation of electrical equipment in flammable and explosive environments and to prevent explosion accidents caused by electrical sparks. What tools do I use to drill clean holes in both the plastic and aluminum enclosures so that the cable glands fit snugly without any gaps? I tried searching for M20 drill bits and thread taping, but couldnt really find anything solid. Can I drill holes on side of electrical box or do I have to use the prefabbed holes?
