Libya has begun construction on a new bridge in Sirte, named "Shuhada Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous" (Martyrs of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous), in honor of the fighters who led the 2016 battle against ISIS. Libya's journey toward recovery has sparked a massive wave of infrastructure development, with projects aimed at rebuilding and modernizing the nation. The demand for new housing, roads, airports, and utilities has opened the door for both local and international construction companies. Tripoli based Libyan Prime Minister, Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba, followed up in a meeting last Monday (4 November) on 81 new bridge construction projects in the transportation sector, including 47 bridges within the Third Ring Road project. A certain level of urban beautification had already started in the city, but only at the scale of neighbourhood parks and road paving. The National Development Agency's headquarters in Sirte witnessed the signing of a series of strategic agreements, within the framework of implementing Vision 2030 launched by the Agency. The company specializes in construction and maintenance of road works, asphalt recycling and structural maintenance works for bridges, viaducts, airport runways, lifting and repairs of bridges, special concrete repairs, etc.
