Implementing Decision 2024/2764 dated October 30, 2024 concerning the harmonized standards of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU was published recently. There are no significant changes among the standards commonly used in electrical equipment safety. The low voltage directive (LVD) (2014/35/EU) ensures that electrical equipment within certain voltage limits provides a high level of protection for European citizens, and benefits fully from the single market. 2016/1101 in relation to England and Wales and Scotland is amended in accordance with Part 1 of Annex I to this notice from the date of this notice.
