Overhead fiber optic cable also known as aerial fiber optic cable is fiber optic cable installed on poles. Deploying fiber above ground on poles or towers removes the need for underground digging and is particularly useful when the ground is uneven, rocky or both. When implementing broadband projects, different methods are used to lay the fibre optic cables.
