• • • • The King Fahd Causeway is a system of bridges and causeways that links Saudi Arabia with Bahrain, spanning a total length of approximately 25 kilometers. The structure consists of two double-lane roadways, each 12 meters wide, separated by a 1-meter gap, resulting in a total width. The FAST Riyadh Metro Alliance is a consortium comprising multi-national groups known in their respective field of expertise that includes FCC, SAMSUNG, C&T, STRUKTON, FREYSSINET S. All bridges are designed as cast-in-place concrete box girders, built span-by-span on scaffolding, expect the main crossing over.
